Play Ideas

Partner Up - Work with a partner during game play to help recall the signs in See It Sign It.

Flash Cards - Use the cards simply as flashcards instead of playing the game.

Scavenger Hunt - Place the cards around the house with the object that it corresponds to for kids to collect on a scavenger hunt. Challenge! Place cards on the wrong objects to see if the child catches the mistake.

Pre-Select - Select a small grouping of sign language cards to practice. After the child learns a set, add in a couple of new cards to the selection that the child already knows. This boosts confidence and promotes self-esteem to learn more words.

Memory & Recall - Select some of the sign language cards and place them sign side up. Allow the child to study the cards then turn them over to the decoder side for the child to try and recall.
